Bringing Luxury Fashion Lifestyle to the Gaming Realm

With all physical fashion related events and shows being postponed or cancelled, brands are searching for a way forward during the pandemic. How does a luxury fashion retailer stay connected with their clientele and target the rising generation during this time? By tapping into new ecosystems; and entering the gaming realm.

We collaborated with NET-A-PORTER to strategize, design, build and brand the official NET-A-PORTER island on Nintendo’s “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”” to connect and engage with the Millennials and Gen-Z market. Also in collaboration with luxury fashion label, Isabel Marant, we featured the first look at their Fall/Winter 2020 capsule collection exclusively on the NET-A-PORTER island.

To help monitor success and to drive traffic from the game to NET-A-PORTER’s E-commerce mobile app, we imprinted a functional QR code in the island to encourage App downloads to convert virtual gamers into our actual shoppers.
