This showcase focuses on a social media campaign, with a clear emphasis on the Facebook marketing deployed by Virtural FarmFest Hong Kong in 2021. The case demonstrates that social media networks, such as Facebook, are important marketing channels that marketers cannot afford to ignore for market promotion and customer education. An effective social media strategy by Farmfest HK 2021 is one that creates an attractive presence to its targeted segment in social media networks. Our Farmfest’s KOLs – Ms Kandy Wong and Mr. Leslie Chan, the chairperson of the organizing committee, representatives of agricultural and fisheries industries, sponsored companies’ representatives, and local university undergraduate students were appeared in these posts and Facebook live videos. As a result, with 189 Facebook posts and 14 Facebook live videos during the event period (7 Jan 2021 – 7 Feb 2021), the objective increasing people’s participation in, and enjoyment of FarmFestHK achieved.
