Christian Solomon is the Chief Digital Officer for MediaCom China and leads the agency’s digital capability, building on the unique agency positioning focused on engaging consumers via the MediaCom content and connections approach.
He has more than 18 years technology, media and marketing industry experience. Originally from Australia, he moved to Beijing in 2006 for a “faster pace” lifestyle, and with 12 years in the market working in China’s digital advertising industry across social media, media and digital agencies, he is now considered a China veteran.
Christian joined MediaCom in early 2013, and prior to taking on the CDO role, he has led large client teams and digital head roles across some of MediaCom China’s largest clients and client groups, including Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, GSK, Mars, Wrigley, Shell and P&G.
He has been front and center during China’s digital transformation and has ridden the wave of change in the drivers seat through the social revolution, ecommerce emergence, mobile generation and data driven advertising.
