As restaurants recovered from the lingering effects of COVID-19, Unilever Food Solutions needed to be more than a supplier, it needed to be a supporter for our customers.

To transform recipe inspiration into business impact, we linked our B2B campaign with a B2C element to drive footfall and sales for our restaurant chefs.

There were two key pillars of this strategy:

B2C: Build an appetite for our Killer Recipes among young Chinese diners to drive footfall to participating restaurants.

B2B: Convert chefs into customers through recipe inspiration, amplifying diner experience and transforming data into a frontline sales tool.

Running concurrently, this B2C2B strategy built a holistic marketing ecosystem for Unilever Food Solutions to help sell through their products and support their customers, driving a massive uplift in sales, significantly outpacing market growth.

Virtual Production 2.0:Yahoo DSP Summit

Virtual production is the most advanced technology in filmmaking and often used in top-tier projects. It’s a new approach that takes away post-production hassles, and allows filmmakers to revolutionize their filming process.

Yahoo TV collaborated with MoonShine Production and integrated both most advanced technologies to create ” Virtual Production 2.0 ” . The production revolution will be our immersive and B2B solution to enhance Yahoo TV immersive leading position in Taiwan.

We are the pioneer to adopt virtual production 2.0 in annual mega event: Yahoo DSP Fearless Summit. This event includes 50-min DSP/cookieless speeches and a 20-min charity concert for the disadvantaged affected by COVID.

After the virtual summit, 94.3% of attendees agree Yahoo TV is leading in advanced AR production. “ Yahoo shows unparalleled ambition in immersive technology ” Chris Chen, the CMO from ezTravel said.

Engaging users means engaging their senses. Combining the visual quality of a gaming engine with real samples and powerful sound lets users experience the iconic SUV with more than just the eye. The new form of user experience is multi-sensory – emotionalizing users on their journey to their individual car. 3D-printed parts to get a feeling about shape and material invite the user to interact with more than just the screen, allowing for direct interaction via RFID. Visual feedback works both ways, with built-in LEDs highlighting possible choices or syncing with the chosen ambient light color. The iconic sound of the SUV adds an acoustic level – goosebumps guaranteed. In the G-Box, we united gaming engine based car configurator with other physical and digital core technologies, such as WeChat-Miniprogram, to extend the customer interaction beyond the showroom with shareable and personalized content. Making it a fully connected multi-sensory experience.

Virtual Dance Championship

“Yahoo TV and Institute for Information Industry (III) collaborate on the Virtual Dance Championship during 2021 Digital Taipei event. Yahoo TV is known for immersive content. Producing materials that fuse virtuality and reality.

We use VRoid Studio to create each performers’ avatar. VICON’s optical camera to capture their performances. And Unreal engine to optimize virtual characters’ physics and shading. We also enhance the experience with our AR live projection.

Our event coincides with the release of Metaverse concept, attracting many performers that want a virtual avatar of their own. Our show became the highlight of the exhibition and was the fist virtual performance competition set in Metaverse ever in TW.”
